North Royalton's Lady Bears Win 2-0 Over Cloverleaf (Lodi)

Oct 23 - The Lady Bears played down a player for nearly the entire game on Saturday in a solid victory over the Cloverleaf Lady Colts (11-3-2). With only a few minutes off the clock, Junior goalkeeper Tori Shokles was given a red card for tripping a Cloverleaf player just outside the box -- sending Shokles out and forcing Royalton to play with only 10 on the field the rest of the game. The Bears rose to the challenge, coming up with two goals in each half while denying the Colts a score and very few shots on goal. Freshman goalie Nikki Zeilmann came in for Shokles. Both Royalton goals were scored by Sophomore midfielder Ellyn Hanford, one in each half, with the second on a header off an assist from Amanda Tamerlano.
